what affects health most drastically is not weight or habits but class. the poorer you are, the sicker you are likely to be. and a major mediating factor is low decision latitude in the workplace, the lack of autonomy that laborers experience. owning the means of production doesn’t just make people richer at labors’ expense, it makes them healthier at the expense of workers as well
